September 6, 2026 Service Announcements

Designated offering for Clark and Hope: Two offerings were announced: the regular church offering and a second offering exclusively for Clark and Hope’s overseas missions trip. Early in the service Bob says they are a little more than halfway through fundraising with a couple of months to go. He describes ministry in Europe, including Paris and France.

Missions prayer update: Scott asks for prayer for communities and mission work in Nepal, India, Colombia, and Venezuela, and mentions People to People and disaster-relief ministry. He reports flood damage at a seminary in Kerala, India, and says missionaries in the affected areas are safe. He also requests prayer for Olivia and Colton Lee, described as recently arrived in Japan, and for Clark and Hope.

Missions Buzz handout and prize: A Missions Buzz handout with a lucky-star prize is mentioned.

Painters: The painters have completed refinishing the wood during the preceding week. Residual urethane odor is noted; additional improvements to brighten the room are planned.

Next Service: Pastor Bob says a prayer passage associated with Mark’s Gospel will be examined in the next couple of weeks.
