October 18, 2026 Service Annoucements

Thanksgiving food outreach: Date: Saturday, November 21, 2026. This matches “the Saturday before Thanksgiving”; Thanksgiving is November 26. The plan is to deliver uncooked Thanksgiving meal ingredients to approximately 16–20 families. A school counselor is helping identify households. Volunteers are asked to visit in teams of two or three, offer prayer, and share the church’s care. Pastor Bob later says the church will buy the food and asks for 20–30 volunteers.

Men’s Bible study: Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at 7 p.m. Location: downstairs fellowship area.

Ladies’ Bible study: Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at 7 p.m. Location: upstairs in the new classroom.

Next Series: Pastor Bob introduces a series on love for the coming weeks, including loving God and others and the meaning of heart, soul and strength.

Future series on shame and guilt: Pastor Bob says he is preparing a series called “Shame and Guilt” for after the current series.

Congregational prayer request: A young online listener is named and prayed for during the service.

Informal lunch invitation: Pastor Bob invites attendees to contact him about sharing chicken after the October 18 service, with an estimated ready time of about 2 p.m.

Prayer for the church: Attendees are encouraged to keep praying for the church, spiritual renewal, healing and loved ones coming to Christ.
